Contact your MP

Your local member of parliament (MP), call their offices once a month to tell them about mesh injured Australians and ask what THEY are going to do about it.

Handwritten notes or letters sent to your MP can also help. It is best to write in your own words, even if  you can only manage a sentence or two, rather than a “template” that is the same.

Add a “frame” to your facebook profile pic

  • Click on your profile pic (top left corner)

  • Then click on update

  • Then click ADD FRAME

  • Type in “MAD Mesh” or “Mesh Awareness”

  • Choose a frame you would like to use that conveys a mesh awareness message

  • Set it as temporary for a day/week/ never

  • Then select “use as profile”

Talk / Write

Use your experience, your voice, to talk to family, friends, strangers… tell them about mesh dangers and native tissue repair… perhaps you might speak to the right person who may be able to champion our cause alongside Mesh Injured Australia!
